Executive Team
Scott Seidel
CEO, Chairman of the Board
Scott Seidel manages
the Spencer executive team and business including planned Spencer
spinouts and joint ventures. He has spent the last twenty years in
management positions relating to vascular ultrasound technology.
Before co-founding Spencer Technologies, he was Vice President of
Operations for Pacific Vascular, Inc., a vascular laboratory service
company with 15 locations in Western Washington. Prior to this
engagement, he was Administrator of the Institute for Applied Physiology
and Medicine, a non-profit research institute involved in ultrasound
research development for government and corporate clients.
Jim Noack
President, Member of the Board
Jim Noack brings more than 30 years
financial industry experience. This includes more than 20 years
in senior executive, CEO, Founder or key investor roles. He has
been a sought after speaker and writer for leading industry conferences and has built and sold a number
of companies including co-founding a 40-member national Chief Executives
investor and "incubator" organization.
David Dobson, RVT
Executive Vice President
David Dobson has over 25 years of
experience in the medical field. Before joining Spencer
Technologies, he spent seven years at Pacific Vascular, Inc. as a
registered vascular technologist and an account representative, visiting
hundreds of physicians to market vascular diagnostic services.
Prior to that, he was a hospital corpsman in the US Navy, a paramedic,
an emergency room technician and a physician's assistant. David
has served as Spencer's Director of Marketing since 1993.
Mark Moehring
Ph.D,
Vice President
of Product Development
Mark Moehring
has worked with the Spencer team both at Spencer Technologies and the
Institute of Applied Physiology and Medicine since 1983. He has
been granted seven patents and has published dozens of articles in
scientific journals. Dr. Moehring leads the Spencer Technologies
research and development team, and is a co-inventor on the Company's
patents. He has more than 20 years experience in Doppler
ultrasound engineering for a number of cardiovascular applications.
Arne Voie
Vice President of Manufacturing & Service
Arne Voie, Ph.D., Vice President of Manufacturing & Service, has a PhD in
Bioengineering from the University of Washington, and 25 years of experience
in engineering, electronics, and service. He has extensive practical
experience in ultrasound in neurosurgical and stroke applications,
investigation of ultrasound enhancement of thrombolytic agents such as t-PA
and characterizing ultrasound fields in both phantoms and wet tanks.
Nina Smith
CFO
Nina Smith has been a trusted advisor and partner to chief executives
for more than 20 years, accumulating an unusual combination of
financing, accounting, administrative and operations experience in the
healthcare field. Her experience includes executive positions with
ATL, Inc., Solid State Systems (dental ultrasound), Synrad, Inc. (laser
manufacturing) and Med-Data, Inc., among others.
Tony Williams
Vice President, Quality/Regulatory
A materials/industrial
engineer with over 20 years experience in the medical device
industry. His responsibilities have included research, process
development, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs. Mr.
Williams’ last 12 years have focused on the practical
implementation of quality systems which serve the organization’s
business needs while meeting the regulatory requirements of US (FDA)
and international regulatory bodies.
